S2:E4- First In Our Age Bracket

12 May 2026 With the big B Mitzvah weekend now over, we take a look back at the past few days and, of course, decide “Who Won The B Mitzvah”. We also celebrate a new fridge in the office, a new giant hole in the rear courtyard, and some other TST-adjacent updates. Talia reports out from the JFS Gala, Stephen preps for Sudbury’s 250th birthday, and Marissa learns what a “shotgun start” is in golf. Dan quizzes the crew on Jewish celebrities, we look ahead at upcoming events, discuss gourmet hot dogs in Salem, and get High Holy Day planning underway. (Really.) To cap it all off, a Broadway anthem about the pavilion construction. Enjoy!

S2:E3- All The Fixins

7 May 2026 This was a good one! We start off with Marissa recapping her trip to New Orleans, Talia not getting a second boat, and Dan reporting back from his road trip. We review a million TST events, including the solar panels ribbon-cutting, Parents For Peace, Pizza Friday, the Social Supper, the end of Hineni, pavilion prep, and THE SURVEY. We also discover a secret extra piece of the census in Bamidbar, get another great quote from Talia (“It hasn’t not happened yet”), and swerve into some reality TV talk. Plus: a new Dunkin in Wayland, John Legg prepares to go to his first B Mitzvah party and dreams of Oshkosh…and perhaps there should be two Mother’s Days? I think we agree. 21 April 2026 It’s vacation week, so we’ve got a little more time to get together and talk about all the things… and we have a special guest, to boot! Marjorie Brockman joins the party as we review Talia’s three-show weekend in NY, Marissa’s experience at Bravo Night, and a perfect baseball evening for Dan. We talk about Monthly Mahj and the new set that just arrived, a bevy of recent programs, compare Biblical place names to their modern equivalents, and get ready for a special program per day when we get back from break; the Solar Panel Ribbon Cutting, Parents For Peace, Pizza Dinner, and the last day of Hineni are all lined up. We’ve also got Dan making plans for a Virginia road trip, Marissa saying “no” to a trip to Ikea, and Talia jonesing for some days off later this week. S2:E1- There's Never Enough Soup

9 April 2026 Season 2 of Extended Kiddush is finally here! We’re back this week after a little Passover hiatus recapping our seders and lives over the past 20 days, the TST Spring Celebration, the Reyim/Mussar dinner, and more. The new Mah Jongg cards are out, Dan survived three nights of Town Meeting, the TWICE concert, and a cold night on the Monster, and Marissa had a great time at the PEP-RJ conference. We also learn a little about punishment in Shmini, get excited for the TST softball season, sing the praises of Sasha Tulgan, and discuss how much rice we all make for dinner. Plus: is Adam Hirsh playing softball? Is Marissa going to Bravo night at Fenway? How many shows will Talia see in NYC later this month? This week, we look back at our Shabbat honoring Ed Burman as a “Hero Among Us”, tease some newsletter changes, and reflect warmly on finally meeting Judy Gadiel from Evolve Giving Group. We also look ahead to the Reyim/Mussar dinner on Friday and the TST Spring Celebration, do some learning about the number 36 in Judaism, and discuss new swag and impulse purchases with John and Stephen.
