Episode 008: The Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)

Why do you think people fear missing out so much? In today’s episode, tee, fortune (and davido) discuss what FOMO is and why it seems more prevalent in our society today. Some really interesting would-you-rathers were done and then they delved fully into the discussion of the day. As usual, they give some unsolicited but helpful measures to take in order to combat this feeling. Be sure to give this episode a listen because it is, as usual, one for the books! Episode 007: How to Not Shoot yourself in the Leg/Foot

What if the biggest thing standing between you and the life you want is you? In today’s episode tee, fortune and Davido (our resident guest) get into what self sabotage is and what it can look like. The episode starts off a bit chaotic as tee shares why more people should start looking into identity crisis in the unconscious state/dream realm based on the dreams she’s been having recently. Some really interesting would-you-rathers were done and they got into why people often self-sabotage themselves. Tee raises an important question about ‘famzing’ as a concept and if it’s really just a self esteem issue. The episode ends with them giving some tips on how to- as the episode title says not shoot yourself in the leg(metaphorically speaking, of course). Episode 006: The MENTAL HEALTH episode

Do Nigerians actually not understand mental health or are we just afraid to talk about it? This week it’s just tee and fortune on the pod (honourable mention to Davido as well!) and they get into a very serious conversation that we all should be having. This week they’re doing a deep dive on Nigerians and mental health. Before they get into the episode, tee shares a little fashion tip for the men on colour combos and shares her favourite thing on the internet currently. Some really interesting would-you-rathers were also done just before they got into the main agenda of the episode. Discussions were had on the need for more mental health and emotional awareness among Nigerians, the reasons why it seems Nigerians don’t like to talk about their emotions, and why it seems there’s so much stigma around the topic of mental health. They also talk about the lack of vulnerability in male friendships and why more men need to be more vulnerable in their friendships. The episode ends by them giving us some ways to improve our mental health. Be sure to give this episode a listen because it’s a much needed conversation we should be having and it certainly is one for the books! Episode 005: The Not-So-Pretty Reality of Growth ft Tomiwa

Why does growth sometimes feel more like loss than progress? Today’s episode is a special one because we have a guest; not just any guest but the first ever guest of the podcast! Our guest today is Tomiwa AKA Patience Ozokwor, on today’s episode fortune, tee, David(yes, we’re now on a first name basis) and Tomiwa discuss what growth really means. Before properly diving into the episode, they gist a bit about the nitty-gritty of content creation then they delve in to discuss why it seems people have warped views of how growth should look like especially now that we’re living in a technologically advanced society. They question if growth always means that something must be lost in order to grow. They end the episode by giving us some ways on how best to approach growth as twenty-something year olds. Episode 004: Third Degree Burnout

At what point does ambition stop being healthy and start becoming harmful? Today’s episode is a thought provoking one( not that rest of haven’t been). Fortune and tee( and Davido, yet again) discuss burnout and what it really means. They discuss reasons why burnout occurs; some of which include the toxic effects of hustle culture, and setting seemingly unrealistic expectations for oneself. Questions were also being raised on what is really means to be average and if being average is the worst thing in the world considering how the world is moving at a very fast pace and how everyone is now striving to be exceptional. They then delve into the effects burnout have on our lives and They end the episode by giving us some insight into what can be done to reduce burnout. Be sure to give this episode a listen because it really is one for the books! Don’t forget to rate the podcast on wherever you listen to podcasts and leave a review on our social media accounts.
