It's a guest's choice book club episode, as we step away from our normal fare and check out the shoujo manga Fruits Basket alongside the Arkansas Potter, Hannah Hinojosa. This series tells the story of an orphaned schoolgirl who finds a home with a family that carries a very unusual secret related to the Chinese zodiac. It's a beautiful story about belonging and learning to find peace in relationships that seem awkward or fraught on the surface.  This is Hannah's second appearance on the podcast.
