Hisham Mahmoud

Shaykh Hisham Mahmoud is a distinguished Islamic scholar who has studied a wide array of traditional sciences including theology, hadith, jurisprudence, legal theory, ethics, Qur’anic recitation, and classical Arabic. His educational journey has taken him across Morocco, Mauritania, and Egypt, where he sat with some of the most esteemed scholars of the Muslim world. Before dedicating himself to grassroots education, Shaykh Hisham served in academia for over a decade. However, sensing a deeper need within the community for spiritually-rooted, accessible education, he made the intentional decision to leave the academy and launch a new initiative.
