When Love Hurts & Heals | God’s Timing, Freedom, and the Fragility of Life

In this episode, I’m taking youdeep into what God has been revealing to me lately—through scripture, reflection, and even a near-death moment. 💌 "You haven't even met everyone who's going to love you yet" — That hit me. As someone who loves love, this shifted me from focusing on lack to expectancy and divine timing. 💔 Love is freedom—but that freedom can be heartbreaking. God held a mirror up to me and reminded me: sometimes the offense we feel isn't about others. It’s about what He’s trying to heal in us. 🚨 A recent accident reminded me: life is fragile, God is sovereign. It’s not about my goodness, it's about His grace. I was spared, but that doesn't mean I’m perfect. I’m just clear that I need Jesus every single day. 📖 We’re also diving into Ruth & Naomi and what they teach us about loyalty, love, and divinealignment. ✨ Don’t forget to LIKE, COMMENT, & SUBSCRIBE for more raw, faith-filled reflections. 📲 Connect on IG &TikTok: @evolution_of_be

We also get into:  Netflix’s Forever — A beautiful coming-of-age story based on Judy Blume’s novel. Shoutout to Wood Harris as Eric Edwards. His fathering style brought back memories of how my dad raised me with conversation over control.  The 12-Foot Statue of a Black Woman in Times Square — A powerful moment of visibility that sparked deep conversation. What does it mean to feel worthy in your rawest form? Let’s challenge beauty standards and redefine “soft girl era” on our own terms.  Communication ≠ Expression — Let’s talk about the difference between emoting and effectively communicating, especially in our relationships with emotionally intelligent men. Sis, iron sharpens iron.   Creating Safe Spaces for Black Women AND the Men We Love — Learn how to listen without repackaging, and respond without weaponizing.  Plus, a gentle wrap-up of our current book journey and a heads-up for next month’s spicy topic: Mean Girls in Ministry.  Homework?
