As we head into the literal half point of the year, we are excited to bring you the latest episode of Marbella with Him & Her, your weekly podcast about Marbella, San Pedro de Alcantara and more. This week we speak about Coleen Rooney in San Pedro, Go Henry, The FTD Brothers, La Sala by the Sea and so much more. Your presenters of Marbella with Him & Her are PJ Lopez (@pjlopez1marbella) and Hannah Murray (@radiohannah). In case this is your first time listening, they are an expat couple that live in San Pedro de Alcantara, Marbella who also run the popular San Pedro Guide. PJ is a marketing director, and Hannah is a radio and tv presenter. They speak each week about the many things going on in and around Marbella and the local area, with occasional information on other parts of Spain and the UK. This week they start with their trip to Benahavis for the annual International Theatre Studio (ITS) Lark in the Park, an event that invloves a picnic, a theatre production and musical entertainment. Most previous years both Hannah and PJ have been involved in one way or another, but this year they were pleased to sit back and enjoy the event at spectators. Listen to hear more about the event and performances. Hannah did her weekly Pilates on Monday, as she had a lunch date with a friend on Friday, but that meant she missed doing the session alongside Coleen Rooney who was at Studio 34. Instead of Pilates Hannah was at La Sala by the Sea with a friend enjoying a lovely Thai platter. She updates us on the revamp of the beach club and the fun vibe and atmosphere. Some of Hannah's interview highlights this week from her Talk Radio Europe show included the entrepreneur of the week, Louise Hill who was on the India trip they did with The Sisterhood last year and who founded the successful children's debit card Go Henry. She also chatted to Julie Talbot who is 'Worldschooling' her children. The other highlight was a heartwarming and heart breaking chat she had one a young lad called Jordan Adams who is one half of the FTD Brothers, who both have inherited a gene that means they have a 99.9% chance of getting the same type of dementia that has already taken a number of their family members. Listen to hear more about their charity raising in aid of the condition. They both went to Remy this week for eggs Benedict, although Hannah had been earlier in the week too for her weekly brunch with her dad. They popped out for drinks with Aoife and Meadhbh to The Hogan Stand before heading across the road for Chinese at Nuevo Siglo. At the weekend they also went for a chat with the owners of Cilantro in San Pedro who have just opened a Lebanese restaurant section in their establishment. They have updates on more new openings in San Pedro too! This week’s articles from their collaborators The Euro Weekly News include the number of tourists handled by Malaga Airport this year, and information on José Carlos Garcia shunning Michelin star dining to return to his food roots.

They also talk about a Marbella social media meme trend involving AI images of Leonardo di Caprio in different locations around Marbella. Hannah also did another interview with actress Susan George, but this time about her acting career starring alongside greats like Dustin Hoffman. She asked Hannah for a copy of the interview as she said things that she had never said before thanks to Hannah's great interview style. Another fun interview was with comedian Iain Lee who spoke about his stand-up shows in people's houses. Fiona from International Theatre Studio went in for a chat with Hannah about the upcoming annual event at the park in Benahavis called Lark in The Park. She went in with one of the coasts top singers Paul Hull. Listen for more information. Her final interview highlight was with a fantastic man called Harry Heasdon who at the age of 98 became a Guinness World Record breaker thanks to a wing walk, making him the oldest man to do so. They also chat about European football finals, including PJ's team Crystal Palace who won the European Conference League final, and also Arsenal in the Champions League final. On Friday, PJ had some colleagues from work over for dinner so he speaks about juggling work, buying ingredients, cooking and cleaning. Meanwhile Hannah had taken off to Seville with some girlfriends for a weekend away. Listen to hear more about their antics from sherry tasting to rooftop drinking. Upon her return they chat about a welcome drink of Hugo Spritz (PJ has some info about its origins, of course). Hannah speaks sadly and very fondly of a singer that passed away suddenly during the week who was part of a trio called the Rat Pack. He was the Frank Sinatra of the group who have played most top venues on the coast. She has some fabulous memories that she shares so listen out for those. Some of this week's articles from their collaborators The Euro Weekly News included the 'lost in translation' misunderstanding of a comedy sketch on Joe Irish News about grading the redness of some Irish sun bathers. Hannah also reads some interesting tips from an article about keeping cool this summer. Finally, there is a reminder about the Collective Calling Gala on Friday 5th June at Cortijo de Cortes which aims to raise much needed funds for the charity. One of the auction items is the very generous donation that Hannah and PJ's friends Steph and Frank gave them to give to a charity auction, a pair of boxing shorts singed by boxing legends Casius Clay (aka Mohamed Ali) and Mike Tyson.
