The Thursday quiz was the busiest in the history of Hogan Stand quizzes with 19 teams and over 90 people taking part. PJ was back in his normal team Director's Cut (minus Janet) and they won both the quiz and the money round!! Hannah had a beach day on Friday and rented a bed from Nuevo Reino which only cost €7.50 before heading to Kala Kalua for a catch up and lunch with friend Charlotte. Saturday, their friends Jamie and Beverley Stonehewer picked them up just after 10am for their regular magical mystery tour. They ended up at Laberintus Park which was home to the largest maze in Spain and the second largest in Europe. Find out what their sense of direction was like and how long they were wandering around the maze! Also at the park was a play area which incorporated lots of challenges such as throwing bean bags into a hole, putting along a narrow strip of wood, horseshoe throwing and much more. On the Radio...in Marbella
Marbella with Him & Her start with an apology as the podcast was delayed the previous week due to a technical issue with the podcast distributor. It was fixed but many listeners did not get it until late Monday evening. Below is a summary of this week's Marbella with Him & Her brought to you by the Hogan Stand and presented by PJ Lopez (@pjlopez1marbella) and Hannah Murray (@radiohannah). PJ starts by wishing Hannah a happy International Women's Day! Hannah goes on to talk about their busy schedule which included the final rehearsals for the play she is in with her father and Sheila that will take place on Wednesday 11th March at Havana 65 in San Pedro. They will have also started rehearsals for the main production by International Theatre Studio taking place in May called Ladies Day. Auditions took place on Saturday, and they have both been cast. Some highlights of Hannah's interviews during the week on her radio show included one with Hannah Cox who is part of The Sisterhood. It was about Project Salt Run where she ran 100 marathons in 100 days across India to raise money for various charities. She also interviewed Steve Starkey who was the producer of one of Hannah's favourite films, Forrest Gump. He shared some amazing stories about the filming and some interesting information from behind the scenes, much of which is in his book 'On the set of Forest Gump' Another interview was with Victoria who was on the most recent series of Below Deck Mediterranean. While she was filming it was the one year anniversary of the death of her boyfriend, which also happened to be on her birthday. She shares some lovely stories about coping with grief. Hannah did a talk to some students at the school where their friend Aoife works called the Brave Generation Academy. She spoke about her journey as a radio presenter and then opened the floor to questions where she was taken aback by the excellent questions many of them asked. Friday, they enjoyed a very impromptu evening with Aoife and Meadhbh who had messaged to say they were having the Indonesian meatballs at La Kasita Tapas in San Pedro. Hannah was the only one that had not had them, so it resulted in PJ and Hannah joining them for the rest of the evening. Saturday morning, despite a late night beforehand, Hannah still managed to get up and do the rooftop Pilates session at Alegre Studios in Puerto Banus which was a CBD inspired session hosted by Lenny and Claire. Saturday evening they went to dinner with friends Ross and Amy which ended with them playing the fun game called the Sound Game, with the kids as well. This week's articles from their collaborators the Euro Weekly News included storm Regina still hanging around, the cheapest homes in Spain, cheap train travel with Ouigo, Mercadona's price cuts and fuel price increases.
