Welcome to episode 70 of Marbella with Him & Her! What is Marbella with Him & Her? It is a Marbella lifestyle and entertainment podcast that is fun and informative and is brought to you by Him (PJ Lopez) and Her (Hannah Murray). PJ does digital marketing for different businesses on the Costa del Sol while Hannah has been a radio presenter on Talk Radio Europe for over 20 years. She is also a TV presenter on Good Morning Spain, the very first English breakfast TV show to be broadcast on Spanish TV in Andalucia. On this week's episode they start with the news that Hannah has booked PJ into her weekly reformer Pilates class at Bootcamp Pilates. If he survives you can find out how he got in on next week's episode. Hannah had a couple of very interesting guests on during the week which included Sahar Hashimi OBE who was the co-founder of Coffee Republic and now runs a community called Buy Women Built (@buywomenbuilt), which is to connect women entrepreneurs and women owned brands. She also interviewed Ally Iseman who is a relationship designer / coach where they talked about relationships and monogamy. While they were on the subject of women in business, Hannah also recalled one of the women from the Sisterhood called Kelly, who was on the India trip who created a set of women's leak-proof sports underwear called Nixi Body, which is now in a Regent Street store that offers specific women's sportswear and products @nixibody On Wednesday they were lucky enough to have been gifted Duran Duran tickets in Starlite Marbella by two podcast listeners Evelyn and Craig who were sadly unable to go after buying tickets. Hannah was at another concert on Friday, this time in Fuengirola with a group of girlfriends to see JLo (Jennifer Lopez). It did not all quite go as planned, the details of which are all in this week's podcast. After meeting up with family in The Hogan Stand for brunch, which was a delicious Irish sausage sandwich, they headed off to Malaga to the McAurthur Glen designer outlet (@mcarthurglenmalaga). That evening they were out for their friend Aoife's birthday where they started the evening with Hannah's Hugo cocktails (elderflower cordial, cava, soda water and mint). After drinks they headed into San Pedro town to a wonderful Spanish restaurant called El Cantinero where the waiters and chef come out and sing a Spanish song about the restaurant and San Pedro. Sunday they were out again for lunch at Guayaba with their friends from the UK 'The Broughams' who have arrived for a holiday. This week's Sur in English articles included Malaga no longer being 2030 World Cup venue because of the new stadium plans falling through. They also mention that it is the Virgen de la Carmen festival, who is the patron saint of sailors' and fisherman. Another article they discussed, which actually happened to Hannah on her night out in Fuengirola for the concert. They went to a hotel before the concert for club sandwiches and when they went to pay the bill, they asked, as always when in a group to pay for their portion each. The hotel refused and said that they would only accept one payment. According to the article this is now a thing many establishments are doing. Hear what their thoughts were about this! Finally they also mention a competition that will be running on the San Pedro Guide from nest week with a €50 voucher up for grabs at The Hogan Stand (@thehoganstand). Make sure you follow @sanpedromarbellaguide to see how to enter.

Welcome to episode 69 of Marbella with Him & Her, your weekly Marbella lifestyle podcast bought to you by PJ Lopez (@pjlopez1marbella) and Hannah Murray (@radiohannah). This week has been a very busy week with lots of things, including Hannah being back at Bootcamp Pilates on Monday and finding it tough having missed a couple of sessions (@bootcamp_pilates_espana). On Tuesday they met up with one of the Sisterhood heroines (@thesisterhoodgroup) that was on the Goa Girls rickshaw rally in India, Kath Church (@kathspillsover) as she was over in Marbella on holiday for a few days. They met up at one of their fav San Pedro tapas haunt, Bar Guerra (@bar_guerra) with Kath and her two friends Jack and Mel. Kath also joined Hannah on her Women's Talk hour on Thursday where she shared some great stories and told everyone about her AI therapist. During the week the Del Sol Singers choir were in action again, this time at the CAP coffee morning. Friday, Hannah went for brunch with Meadhbh to Pandora (@pandora_cafeteria) before heading to lunch with Charlotte at Kala Kalua. After lunch Hannah met up with Meadhbh again and they tried out the new beds at Kala Kalua which had the fattest matrasses and were only €15 for the day. PJ joined them and they went to take a look at the new restaurants that are open beside Belmare before finding out the price of the beds at Gala. Hannah did a great interview with former teen idol and member of The Bay City Rollers Stuart Woody Wood on her show during the week. While Hannah was having lunch at Kala Kalua, PJ was in a meeting in Gibraltar before having lunch at Wagamama's and then heading to Morrisons to get a large jar of Kenko coffee. Listen to the podcast to find out why this was such a big deal! Saturday, Hannah and PJ had a bed booked at Kova Beach club in Puerto Banus, which was an amazing day (@kovabeach). It was a great vibe and the food was also delicious and very reasonably priced for a beach club. After that they headed into Banus with Kate and Ian which turned into a bit of a pub crawl and ending in Crystals Karaoke bar (@crystalkaraokemarbella). This weeks Sur in English articles include the special Indiana Spanish tomato and the article about refreshing Costa del Sol dishes for the summer.

Welcome to episode 68 of Marbella with Him & Her, and we are pleased to say they are back in the same room together sharing lots of fun things they have been up to during the past week. PJ shares details of his UK trip and food mishaps at the airport while Hannah admits to sharing photos in last week’s snippet of her beach day with Aoife and Meadhbh even though she recorded the podcast before she went on the beach day. Hannah gives details of her latest concert booking to see JLO in Fuengirola after a venue switch from Malaga. She has rounded up a few friends to go with, meaning she will have a busy week of three concerts! Hannah also gives details of the new Parfois that has opened in San Pedro, located next to Primor on the pedestrian street. They also remind listeners that they run the English guide to San Pedro @sanpedromarbellaguide and that they did a little video update when they had their date night at Luini Italian restaurant, somewhere they had been wanting to try for ages @luini.cucina.italiana Listen for the mouth-watering details of what they had to eat! After the meal they popped into the Hogan Stand @thehoganstand and bumped into Brona and Cathy who are avid listeners of the podcast. It was great to meet them as they are two lovely girls that used to work in the Hogan Stand. It was a busy social weekend as they were out again on Saturday night at La Grappa in Benavista for the Del Sol Singers performance followed by Karen Danzig singing. Sunday was a mix of relaxation and gardening. Once the front and back gardens were back in good shape they caught up with some of the previous couple of days of Glastonbury before recording this weeks podcast. The Sur in English articles this week include a piece about Antonio Banderas filming a new film about the chef Anthony Bordain who committed suicide back in 2018. They also discuss the article about the EasyJet strike, which PJ missed by a day. It would not be a complete podcast if they did not also chat about the weather and the new heatwave hitting much of Europe. Don't forget to follow Hannah on @radiohannah and PJ on @pjlopez1marbella We hope you enjoy this week’s Marbella lifestyle podcast and we look forward to any comments you might have on any of the channels you listen on.

A slightly different episode this week, as PJ (@pjlopez1marbella) is in the UK, so Hannah (@radiohannah) did the podcast on her own! Although PJ sent an audio update of what he's getting up to in the UK. Hannah talked about a fun interview she did on her radio show with 'accidental middle aged influencer' Lou Featherstone (@luinluland) about her Self Love Revolution. The morning after PJ left, Hannah was stranded in Estepona with a flat tyre! She was late for her appointment with the beach, but managed to get it all sorted! Her and Amy enjoyed a delicious lunch at Los Espigones, near Puerto Banus. Hannah hosted two quizzes this week, the weekly one at The Hogan Stand, and her monthly one at Urban Chai. There were some very excited winners...and not even of the quiz! ;) Hannah mentions the list of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World, with Spain being the only country to have 2 in the Top 5! There is a new service launched on Marbella beaches, where you can call in advance to book assistance to go for a swim in the sea, if you have reduced mobility. What a great service! This is the number 658 618 333 She also praised Alan and Jenny Boardman for their tireless work for the community, raising much needed funds for Cudeca (@fundacioncudeca)

Welcome to episode 66 of 'Marbella with Him & Her', your weekly Marbella lifestyle podcast talking about the beautiful resort we chose to live in Spain. This week is a packed episode full of the many things we have taken part in and enjoyed since last week's podcast. 'He' is PJ Lopez (@pjlopez1marbella), a digital marketing expert in Marbella and 'Her' is Hannah Murray (@radiohannah), a radio presenter on Talk Radio Europe, and a TV presenter on Good Morning Spain. This week we talk about a lovely gathering of friends at the Hogan Stand (@thehoganstand) instigated by JP, who decided he just want to get his friends toegther for some food, fun and laughter. Hannah had her epic beach day with a friend on Sunday, which involved a little bit of Sangria and some great food at one of their favourite summer beach venues in San Pedro, Guayaba (@guayababeach). Meanwhile PJ went down with a case of shingles and has been on medication for the week. Having spent a few weeks changing eating habits, cutting back on drinking and doing more exercise, he ended up getting shingles! It meant he didn't go to the office or the quiz in case anyone hadn't had chickenpox before. Hannah also chats about the lovely Irish goodies that the students currently doing some work experience at the radio station brought over from Dublin. This week's TV fliming for Good Morning Spain (@goodmorningspaintv) involved Nikki as she had come over to Marbella for a few days and was staying with Hannah and PJ. They went for breakfast before filming at a great little cafe called Gunayadin. Later in the week while PJ was still confined to home, Hannah went to Malaga port to meet up with some of Sheila's family who had stopped at the port on their cruise. They had lunch and champagne at a tapas bar in the port called Toro, A Taste of Spain. Notable interviews Hannah did this week on her radio show on TRE (@talk_radio_europe) included Kate Muir about her book 'How To Have A Midlife Crisis' and Anthea Stevens who suffers from Cerebral palsy who has written a book called 'What's Done Can't be Undone'. The weekend was very much about the International Theatre Studio's (@internationaltheatrestudio) Lark in the Park. On Sunday, while PJ headed to the park to set up the sound and lights, Hannah took some special time with her dad for father's day by taking him for breakfast to Hustle n Flow in San Pedro (@hustlenfloweatery). Later it was what all the rehearsals has all been about. The play for Lark in the Park in Benahavis this year was written by Sheila Mellor, Sandra Mole and Kate Jackson, called The Val Hala Fashion Show. It was a funny tongue in cheek fashion show set in Marbella hosted by presenter one (an Amanda Holden type character) played by Hannah and presenter 2 (a camp and very bitchy man called Graham) played by PJ. After many difficult rehearsals, it all came together on the night with great feedback from the audience. The Del Sol Singers choir also performed some songs which had the audience singing and dancing along to, and the evening was topped off by Karen Danzig singing some great tunes and getting everyone up on their feet dancing.
