Sunday, June 14, 2026 - Bible Study by David Sproule The BIBLE Teaches That BAPTISM Is ESSENTIAL For Man's Salvation Today! 1. "What about the thief on the cross?  He was saved without being baptized, so baptism isn't really essential for us to be saved either." 2. "Baptism is a work, and the Bible says that we're saved by the grace of God and not works." 3. "If someone is on their way to be baptized or is in a place where they are unable to be baptized and they die without getting baptized, how could God send them to hell?" 4. "Baptism is an outward, public declaration of an inward faith, a personal commitment to Christ and a new identity with Him - it is not tied to one's salvation from sin." 5. "There are literally hundreds of verses that focus on salvation by faith and do not even mention baptism - so we must be saved when we come to have faith in Christ." 6. "As long as someone is baptized to obey God's command, he does not need to understand whether it is for the remission of sins or not.  The main thing is that he is baptized." 7. "Jesus was not baptized to be saved, which shows that baptism has nothing to do with one's salvation from sin."
