MM plans to infiltrate a gala at Tek Knight's estate, recruiting Hughie to disguise as the arachnid-powered Supe, Webweaver. Homelander, Ryan, and the rest of the Seven arrive at Tek Knight's mansion for the gala. Hughie, now in Webweaver's smelly costume, is planting bugs around the mansion when he’s caught by Neuman. She doesn’t recognize him, and neither does Tek Knight, who’s excited to show off his TekCave to his new "sidekick." Things take a bizarre turn as Tek Knight and Hughie tour the TekCave and things go from weird to worst. Meanwhile, Annie and Kimiko convince MM to help them break into the mansion, fearing for Hughie’s life. They find Tek Knight torturing Hughie, and chaos ensues as they rescue him and take down Tek Knight. Kimiko attempts to visit Frenchie in prison again, seeking solace and yet again is turned away. The episode ends with Butcher confronting the moral dilemma of using a potentially airborne, Supe-killing virus that could wipe out all Supes, including his allies. We also find out here whether or not Alex's prediction from the previous episode is correct or not!
