In April of 1992, when war broke out in Davor’s hometown in Bosnia, big moves quickly became necessary for his and countless other families. Traveling through Berlin, Hungary, Austria and several other places, they eventually ended up in Zagreb, Croatia before their more permanent relocation to Canada. Davor’s experience, growth and family stories are truly exceptional, and echo the experience of so many others who have similarly made big moves in their lives out of necessity.
