Hunting For Synchronicity - Ep 11

Sustainability, Inhabitants Film & The Bruce Lee of Land Stewardship

Thank you for tuning in with us once more, Fringe Family. After a somewhat long hiatus, we have once again opened the doors of perception. This time to share a beloved documentary "Inhabitants: An Indigenous Perspective". A sobering and profound glimpse into American Indigenous Traditional land management practices and philosophies.  5 tribes, 5 ways of living with nature's cycles and assisting the land for the betterment and balance of all. Practices that have been maintained for Millenia, that we could all benefit from greatly. Dry Farming, 200th generation farmers, forest planning, buffalo restoration, food forests in Hawaii, and prescribed fire.    Holistic Sustainable living is our bedrock and the core of our practice as land stewards ourselves. We talk some about that, the new visions for our food forest, and some exciting projects going down on the Homestead.   We have and always will have much to learn and practice in Holistic Sustainable living, but we're grateful to still have access to these traditional practices, and for those who are doing the work of education and raising awareness.
