The Book Slam on Clubhouse is a weekly show that features authors from all genres reading from their work. The show is hosted by creator N. D. '"Indy" Brennan, Annetha Jones, Ed. D., and Hotelier Bruce Jordan. It is featured every Tuesday from 8 P.M. to 10 P.M. (EST). This week's show featured performing authors Vanessa Colvin (Between Two Flowers: Daily Motivation and Encouragement), Stefan Tomasi (The Ethereal Road: A Soul-itary Tale), Bernice Hernandez, Crystal Mitchell (The Beginning of Her Story), Chavon D. White (The Hoop Star), Donna Fields Brown (One Moonlit Night), Latosha Harrison (Determined To Be Me), and Synnamyn (Love Don't Leave Me). Vanessa Colvin's Between Two Flowers: Daily Motivation and Encouragement is a book of daily motivational quotes and affirmations. It is a great way to start your day off on the right foot or to give yourself a boost when you need it. Stefan Tomasi's The Ethereal Road: A Soul-itary Tale is a metaphysical novel about a man's journey to find his soul mate. It is a story about love, loss, and redemption. Bernice Hernandez' book is a memoir about her journey from childhood trauma to healing and self-love. It is a story of hope and resilience, and it is sure to inspire anyone who reads it. Crystal Mitchell's The Beginning of Her Story is a children's book about a young girl who is learning to love herself. It is a story about self-acceptance and self-esteem, and it is sure to resonate with young readers. Chavon D. White's The Hoop Star is a young adult novel about a basketball player who is trying to achieve his dreams. It is a story about hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Donna Fields Brown's One Moonlit Night is a romance novel about a woman who falls in love with a man she meets by chance. It is a story about love, second chances, and destiny. Latosha Harrison's Determined To Be Me is a memoir about her journey from addiction to recovery. It is a story of hope and healing, and it is sure to inspire anyone who is struggling with addiction. Synnamyn's Love Don't Leave Me is a romance novel about a woman who is trying to save her relationship. It is a story about love, forgiveness, and redemption. Bolden is a filmmaker who has used his own experiences with pain and trauma to create films that inspire and uplift others. His book is a memoir that tells the story of his journey from pain to purpose. * Motivational Speaker Wendell White read from his book The Devil Thought He Had Me!. White is a motivational speaker and author who has overcome incredible odds to achieve success. His book is a story of hope and resilience, and it is sure to inspire anyone who reads it. * Global U. N. Ambassador Dr. Angela J. Neally, Ph. D. Dr. Neally is a global leader and advocate for social justice. Her book is a memoir that tells the story of her life and her journey to becoming a global ambassador. * Eric York read from his book Having Early Visions That Move Mountains. York is a motivational speaker and author who has a passion for helping others achieve their dreams. His book is a guide to creating and achieving your vision for your life. * Ronald Goode read from his book The Cape Cod Serial Killer Story. Goode is a true crime author who has written extensively about the Cape Cod serial killer. His book is a gripping account of the murders and the investigation that brought the killer to justice. * Vanessa Hollis read from her book A Mixed Batter Of Confessions. Hollis is a poet and author who writes about the experiences of being mixed race. Her book is a collection of poems and essays that explore the joys and challenges of being mixed race. * Elise Marie Collins read from her book Super Ager: You Can Look Younger, Have More Energy, a Better Memory, and Live a Long and Healthy Life (Aging Healthy, Staying Young). Collins is a health and wellness expert who is passionate about helping people age gracefully. Her book is a guide to living a long, healthy, and vibrant life. * Nathaniel Terrell read from his book Is There Not A Cause. Terrell is a pastor and author who is passionate about social justice. His book is a call to action for Christians to get involved in the fight for justice. * Tabitha Wilson read from her book No Cross-No Crown: A Journey Through Autism, Bullying and Spiritual Warfare. Wilson is a mother of a child with autism who has written about her experiences to help other families facing similar challenges. Her book is a story of faith, hope, and overcoming adversity. Poet A. J. Houston Performs "What Was First"

On Tuesday (01/24/2023), Poet A. J. Houston stopped by The Book Slam on Clubhouse and performed a new piece from his soon-to-be-released book of poetry, The Lost Book of Black (Legacy Edition).  The poem he performed was What Came First.   A.J. RECIPROCAL, CHAPTER 4: SUMMER - FALSELY ACCUSED (Part 1)

RECIPROCAL:  WHAT IF WHITE PEOPLE WERE SLAVES?
