First, we welcome back Sophie Perrigin to discuss the Maroon and White Supply Chain organization and the incredible opportunities it provides students through networking, professional development, and national case competitions. Sophie shares details about the team’s first-place finish at the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) case competition in Long Beach, California, and how experiential learning is preparing students for careers in supply chain and logistics. Then, Noah Carpenter joins the show to talk about the Tennessee Valley Authority Investment Challenge team and how students manage a real $500,000 investment portfolio while learning advanced market research and financial analysis skills using Bloomberg terminals. Noah also shares how the program helped prepare him for his future career in finance.

Hear from Associate Dean Dr. Parker Ellen and Ergon’s HR Director Richard Kostal as they break down the College’s new custom executive education program—an immersive, hands-on experience designed to help professionals sharpen innovation, storytelling, and problem-solving skills. From business model development and pitch training to real-world application, this four-day Venture Catalyst workshop gave participants “Monday morning ready” tools they can immediately take back to their organizations. Plus, learn why bringing professionals to campus created a unique, distraction-free environment that elevated both learning and collaboration.
