How to Know What Is Your Next Step In Your Spiritual Path

This maturity is defined by your experiences, exposure, and overall relationship to spirituality. The phase of spiritual maturity that many people are in is the infant phase. Think of trendy spirituality. This is where someone is trying out different spiritual practices to see which ones resonate with them. Then, something big happens. You begin to outgrow this way of approaching spirituality. You no longer are fulfilled by the next shiny course. You are seeing all the ways that spirituality is being used for bad. 3 Questions That Will Keep You Out Of Harmful Spiritual Spaces

There are a lot of fraudulent “spiritual” practitioners out here who are teaching + sharing spirituality in harmful ways. These three questions will protect you from joining them. 1.) Where did you get your teachings from / where do they come from? If they do not mention a direct bloodline, tradition, or elder… RUN. Self help books, certifications, and weekend retreats do not make someone prepared to facilitate such sacred work. 2.) Who are your elders? If they cannot name elders, this also means they have no accountability / checks and balances. Elders are FOUNDATIONAL to work being done in a good way and in integrity. Without them, they are being ego led, not spirit led. 3.) This question is for you. Is this person speaking to my ego or my spirit? They are speaking to your ego if they are selling you a title, modality, or rite of passage.
