"Down & Out, But It Smells Like Trout" - Episode #33 - Aug 1st, 2017

"Hello! Hello! It's good to be back!" Liam Gallagher belts out during the opening track to Brit-rock group Oasis' sophomore album, the iconic "What's the Story (Morning Glory)?" That closing lyric from the Oasis tune, "Hello" -- a line nicked from sex offender extraordinaire Gary Glitter, serves as the perfect introduction for this week's podcast. Fresh off of Justin recording a new album, and David returning from the Himalayas learning the ins-and-outs of jiu jitsu under the guidance of Ra's al Ghul after an extended time away, the guys return once again to discuss a plethora of topics. Topics discussed in this episode include; the upcoming Mayweather/McGregor fight, Justin's new EP, why some men are attracted to the "bad girl," drama-filled people, and much more! You can download Justin's new EP, "A New Morning," here: https://justinmayhughmusic.bandcamp.com/

"Vinegar Strokes" - Episode #31 - May 9th, 2017

What starts a trend in popular culture? Who decides what the next trend will be, and who decides that a current trend is no longer the cool thing to partake in? Who decided that bell bottoms were cool back in the 70's, and who decided that they were complete horse shit a few years later? Who was the trend-setter that woke up one day in the 90's and decided that stone-wash jeans were actually a good idea, and who were the people that all agreed and started walking around in public like they were better than the rest of us because they wore stone-wash jeans that were tight around the ankles? Why do people find the need to pay $3,000 for a ripped up shirt or jeans just because Kanye West told them it was cool to do so? Why do some people pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for a pair of Jordan shoes just to leave them in a box in their closet amongst a multitude of other pairs of Jordan shoes in boxes in that very same closet? Is that new Katy Perry album REALLY that good, or could Katy record the audio of herself taking a shit 10 times, and put it out as a record and millions of people would buy it on iTunes because the trend setters told them it's cool? These are just a few of the tough questions David and Justin attempt to answer in this episode of The FU Podcast -- along with a number of other engaging topics. This episode features the Gorillaz track, "Dirty Harry," off of their 2005 album, "Demon Days."
