There were three significant civilizations we focused on; the Indus River Valley Civilization, Mesopotamia. Of course, there were others, but um, I uh didn't feel like talking about the others. If that is not enough for you, you can start your podcast and talk about China, Meso America, and whatever else you want. Anyway, more civilizations have popped up. Here are some societies you should know: Rome, Persia, the Mauryan Empire in India, the Han Dynasty in China, Ghana, and Europe and stuff. Why do you need to know all that? While this was a successful method of living, there was a growing demand for change. But why? The hunter-gather diet was far healthier than the diet after this change. And hunter-gathers had much more leisure time than their advanced descends. So why would they make this change? Many anthropologists have suggested that the transition to the development of agriculture was to increase the intake of calories.
