Intimacy without Intimacy

We are bacccck! and we are on EPISODE 10!!⭐️    We are celebrating one year of abstinence, one year of no fornication, one year of waiting til marriage and still counting!    I am so happy to be recording again for you all, I decided to record and share with you all about my journey of abstinence, but also share the challenges faced when turning down my flesh, spiritual attacks, demons etc etc. I mentioned in this episode I am not here to manipulate you or even convince you but the spirit realm is very real, the attacks are very real. But when you draw near to Jesus and understand your authority in Christ they will flee. Jesus tells us in Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” You have the authority to fight back and that includes fighting your flesh.   I decided to share this because I know a lot people who are reaching this milestone of abstaining from sex and I am so proud of you all, KEEP GOING!  Re-waiting until marriage is NOT BAD, do not let the world tell you different!     Scripture Read: 1 Thessalonians 4:2-8 A Plea for Purity🤍 Additional Scriptures:   Galatians 5:19-21 ✨“Now the Works of the flesh are evident, which are; adultery, fortification, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambition, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God”    1 Corinthians 6:18✨ “Flee Sexual Immorality. The Backslide Battle

Send a text [https://www.buzzsprout.com/twilio/text_messages/2424948/open_sms] I know, it can be rough. One minute we are on fire for the Lord and then next we hit a dud. We no longer want to read His word, we doom scroll on social media and see those in the world getting the things we are fervently praying for but they get it so easily while we are waiting on the Lord.  One minute we have a solid routine of waking up and spending time with Him, reading scripture, applying it to ourselves and speaking to Him through out the day. And then the next minute, picking up the Bible feels like the hardest task we could ever do that day. It is normal, which is why scripture says to put on the armor of God. Pick up that cross, die to the flesh. Yes it is easier said than done but  it is all true. My absence in recording as stemmed from laziness and backsliding into just laying in bed, watching tv more than normal, scrolling on social media and avoiding my assignment and avoiding spending time with the Lord. But it isn't about me anymore, the prize is Jesus and I am responsible for souls to make it to the Kingdom of Heaven.  So, step out of the norm, spend time with Jesus today. Let today be a FAITH-FULL Friday. A Friday full of Faith, listen for the Lord in the wind, look at all He has created and be grateful for the King we serve.
