We live in a world that can feel dark at times. Yet as Christians, we can confuse what God wants for our lives with what our flesh desires, often leading us away from His will. That’s why Pastor Ken encourages us to be mindful of who we’re joined to in our relationships - especially in marriage. Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked, because pursuing a life with someone who doesn’t follow Christ can lead us away from what God desires for us. So today, remember to stay grounded in the Word of God.

Many times in our lives, when we feel wronged or betrayed, we write people off. We turn our backs on them, block them, ghost them, the whole nine yards. But that response isn’t from God; it comes from our flesh, telling us people aren’t worthy of forgiveness and that we’re better off without them. But today, Pastor Ken reminds us that as Christians, we’re called to show the same forgiveness God has shown us in Christ. Even when we feel hurt, God calls us to love others with grace.

Do you remember your life before Jesus Christ? For many, it was filled with brokenness and the weight of the world… and for those who don’t know Him, that’s still their reality. So when you encounter someone who hurts you or wrongs you, is it fair to write them off completely? Did God write you off when you sinned against Him? That’s why Pastor Ken encourages you to turn to Jesus, allowing His mercy and forgiveness to shape your life, so you can extend that same grace to others.

Sometimes, when we serve in ministry, we can forget to spend time with God outside of those moments. We neglect to replenish our spiritual lives, and over time, that can leave us feeling dry and distant. When that happens, our desire to pursue God can begin to fade. That’s why, in today’s message, Pastor Ken urges us not to stay stuck in that place but to keep pressing forward. Make time to seek and worship God both inside and outside of ministry, and allow Jesus to be the one who keeps you going.
