Episode 06: Grieving a parent in your 20s.

Losing a parent in my 20s is one of the last things I expected to experience, however now that it has become my reality I am learning to more comfortable with being uncomfortable. I am working to be more open and vulnerable about the scary and sad things I feel, and not hiding from my grief but welcoming it. Riding the waves of grief when they come because it will only help me rather than letting the waves of grief crash over me. As I get closer and closer to many firsts without my mom, I am hoping to be able to share more on what this time looks like for me and how I am navigating through it.

Episode 05: Signs my mom is still with me

This episode I will be talking about my spiritual connection that I have with my mom and some of the signs I've gotten in the last year that she is still with me. Growing up my mom mad it a priority to teach my siblings and the word of God. Now through that blessing I am able to connect with my mom and our Heavenly Father.

Episode 03: Life after Loss pt. 1

This episode I will be discussing part of what life after loss has looked like for me thus far. My grief journey has not been linear in the slightest but there have been some major shifts that i've noticed during the first several months after losing my mom. My journey with grief will be ongoing and something that I will continue to be able to expand on and give more insight, but for now this is part 1.
