Today’s guest is Rebecca Hickman. Rebecca has worked at CBU for two years in the Department of Community Life. Community Life, or Comm Life for short, exists to enhance our student’s college experience through purposeful activities.  Prio to joining CBU, Rebecca worked for over 20 years with a non-profit Christian Ministry called The Traveling Team, mobilizing thousands of university students across the country to embrace God’s global purpose for their lives. Rebecca volunteers at her church in the Early-Childhood and Global Prayer ministries.

Victoria Brodie, Department Chair of Communication Arts

Today’s guest is Victoria Brodie, the department chair for communication arts at California Baptist University. Dr. Brodie has over two decades of experience in communication, organizational development and leadership. Her research and practice focus on the complexity of change and optimizing performance within it. Dr. Brodie has a passion for exploring leadership development best practices and has researched the impact of technology on leadership, strategic communication and marketing.

Troy Hinrichs, Professor of Criminal Justice and Fellow with the Paul and Annie Kienel Leadership Institute

Today’s guest is Troy Hinrichs, Professor of Criminal Justice at CBU and Fellow with the Dr. Paul and Annie Kienel Leadership Institute.  Professor Hinrichs experience spans the spectrum. Includes research and presentations on leadership and literature, including Moby Dick and Don Quixote. He teaches courses in law, leadership, ethics, and wisdom.

Dr. John Montgomery, Associate Vice President Student Services

Today’s guest is Dr. John Montgomery. John serves as CBU’s Associate Vice President for Student Services. In his role, John interacts with students, faculty and staff daily, along with connecting with community partners and donors. John’s experience spans decades as a pastor, worship leader and on the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary trustee board. John has worked for CBU for almost two decades.
