In Luke 14, Jesus tells a parable about God inviting a whole assortment of people to come and join in his feast. We too have the opportunity to invite those on the margins to come and experience God’s goodness and be changed by his presence. Join us this week as we learn how inviting others to experience God is an act of mission available to everyone who follows Jesus.

There aren't many feelings worse than watching someone you love, someone who says they love you, scorn your affection and love someone else instead. It's bad enough if it happens once, but what if it keeps happening? I don't want to think about heartache like that. It can lead even the most faithful, kind, loving person to a breaking point. This week, we watch God wrestle with the pain of having His bride turn away from Him and His desire to keep loving her.

James Boice begins his commentary on chapter three of Hosea with these words, “The third chapter in the book of Hosea is in my judgment the greatest chapter in the Bible.” I think one of the greatest gifts of Hosea is that it helps us hear the melody of the Gospel through a different tune. Join us as we tackle chapters two and three, and while the images, language, and story are all designed to make you wince, it also beautifully exposes us to the true scandal of God’s grace.
