Over Wombly Being

What if the very thing the world tells us to hide and endure is the source of our power? Wombly Being is a podcast and an invitation to reimagine menstruation and cyclical living as blueprints for creativity, leadership, and cultural change. Hosted by Morín Glimmer and Rosannah Jones—friends, founders, and changemakers—we ask what happens when taboo becomes a power tool and when daily life aligns with body wisdom. If you’ve ever felt your period held you back, this space is for you. Join us in re-designing how we live and work for sustainability, inclusivity, and full self-expression.

Tending the fire

After a winter hibernation, we’re re-emerging at the midpoint between the spring equinox and the summer solstice with an episode that’s all about tending the fire and how to keep yourself and your business going without burnout. Especially as the energy around us starts to pick up pace and we’re told to “do more” and say “yes to everything.” We explore how to gently invite in more visibility, connection and creativity in your business, without booking up your calendar back-to-back so that there’s no room left for you. This is about redefining productivity in a way that honours your body's actual rhythms, and building a business that supports your energy rather than depleting it. We also revisit the forgotten wisdom of spring and how this is a time of gradual re-emergence rather than heightened activity, an important perspective for women in business navigating growth in a more sustainable way. And we bring this conversation back to menstrual cycle awareness. By paying close attention to your body’s subtle cues and the different phases and energies of your menstrual cycle, you can navigate these seasonal shifts in a way that aligns with your natural rhythms. This is an invitation to reflect on how you meet spring’s rising energy as a cyclical being, without losing yourself or overstoking the fire. Wintering Is a Feminist Practice

For the winter solstice — the longest night of the year — we’re sharing a special episode exploring wintering as a feminist practice. In a culture that rewards constant productivity and treats rest as something to earn, slowing down can feel uncomfortable, indulgent, or even irresponsible, especially for women and marginalised people. But winter isn’t something to push through or escape; it’s a vital season of wisdom and regeneration. In this episode, we explore why rest has historically become increasingly undervalued, how linear business models have shaped our relationship to time and worth, and why planning the year ahead in December so often feels wrong. Drawing on menstrual cycle awareness, seasonal rhythms, folklore, history, and lived experience, we discuss what nature teaches us about slow growth without guilt, how winter supports reflection, release, and renewal, and why honouring your inner and outer winter can be a deeply strategic (and political) way to work and live. We also guide you through a gentle body check-in for the season and share a few simple solstice rituals: a practice of releasing, resting, and making space for what wants to emerge next. This episode is an invitation to soften and let go, trust the dark, and remember: rest is not laziness, slowing down is not falling behind, and winter has something to teach us — if we’re willing to listen. It's your story to retell

In Episode 4, our final one for the first series of Wombly Being, we ask: What if the stories we’ve been told about our cycles aren’t the truth? Join us and explore the deep cultural roots of menstrual shame—from myths of “hysteria” to modern workplace taboos—and the ways these stories still shape how we experience our bodies today. We discuss what happens when we stop perceiving our cycles as problems to fix and start seeing them as wisdom to listen to. You’ll learn how to shift from feeling powerless to becoming a steward of your body through gentle language reframes, mindset shifts, and practical tools. We also invite you to join our 30-day story retelling challenge, whenever you’re ready. If you’re curious about the cultural context behind our collective disconnection from our bodies and you’re craving more autonomy, compassion, and trust in your cyclical nature, this episode is for you. Building a business that flows with you

In Episode 3, we explore how to build a business that flows with you based on your menstrual cycle and discuss the power of cyclical entrepreneurship. Morín shares her story of how working against her body almost broke her, and how aligning her business with her natural rhythm helped her reclaim her health, increase her confidence and sharpen her mission. You'll hear about how syncing your work with your inner seasons can help you create momentum without burnout, and learn about the type of work that leans into the strengths that each phase of the cycle brings you. If you’re a solopreneur, a founder, or a small business owner who feels inconsistent, overextended, or frustrated by how your energy fluctuates — this episode is for you. What your body’s been trying to tell you

In Episode 2, we dive into the foundations of menstrual cycle awareness. Rosannah shares her personal story of how years of painful periods and health challenges forced her to finally listen to her body - and what changed when she did. We explore what menstrual cycle awareness really means, how to start tracking your cycle in a way that feels intuitive and why every symptom is part of your body’s unique language. You’ll also get a first look at the “inner seasons” of the cycle, and how making space around your bleed can transform how you feel. This episode is your invitation to start noticing, listening, and building trust with your body again. Please share this podcast with a friend who needs to hear it.
