episode Your Word Is Your Brand and People Are Paying Attention (06.26.26) cover

Beskrivelse

It sounds almost too simple. Do what you say you're going to do. But think about the people in your life who actually do it every time, without being chased down and you'll quickly realize how rare it really is. In real estate, most agents believe trust is built on big moments: the perfect listing presentation, the smooth closing, the five-star review.  But the truth is, trust is built in the small ones. The follow-up you said you'd make. The update you sent even when you didn't have an answer yet. The Saturday morning you actually showed up for. In this episode, we get personal about what broken promises actually do to people over time in business, in parenting, and in life and why the silence is almost always worse than the news itself. There's a quote that runs through this entire conversation that's worth writing down, and by the end of it, you'll be thinking about at least one promise you need to keep before the weekend is over.

episode Before the Market Turns: How to Financially Prepare for the Unpredictable Life of a Realtor (07.02.26) cover

Before the Market Turns: How to Financially Prepare for the Unpredictable Life of a Realtor (07.02.26)

Every real estate agent knows the feeling: one month you're closing deal after deal, and the next, the phone goes quiet. In this episode, our host takes you back to a financial seminar from over fifteen years ago and a story that never left her ~ a son calling his parents to borrow $500, only to be met with a question that changed how she thinks about money forever: "You don't have $500?" That question became a lesson in preparation, not panic. And it hits especially hard for anyone in real estate, where income can swing wildly from month to month. Our host gets personal, opening up about a brutal seven-month stretch early in her career without a single closing ~ one of the hardest seasons of her life, both financially and emotionally and the promise she made to never be caught unprepared again. With summer often bringing a natural slowdown for agents, this episode is a timely and honest look at what it really means to run your real estate business like a business: budgeting for slow months, setting aside money for taxes and emergencies, and building enough margin that when life throws a curveball a broken HVAC, a slow quarter, an unexpected vet bill you can respond instead of spiraling. It's not about getting rich overnight. It's about creating the kind of financial freedom that lets you sleep at night, no matter what the market is doing. Tune in for a real, grounded conversation about money, mindset, and what it actually takes to build a sustainable career in real estate plus a simple 30-minute challenge to see where you really stand.

Don't wait to feel motivated. Move First. The Feeling Follows. (07.01.26)

✨ ICYMI — This Morning’s 6:00 AM Call ✨ Today we talked about something so many people struggle with: 👉 Waiting to FEEL motivated before taking action. And honestly? Life doesn’t usually work that way. Most successful people are not constantly motivated. They’re committed. Because motivation is emotional. Commitment is behavioral. We talked about how: • You won’t always feel inspired • You won’t always feel confident • You won’t always feel energized • You won’t always feel ready …but your goals still require movement. And one of the biggest reminders from today was this: ✨ Action often CREATES motivation. Not the other way around. Sometimes the energy comes AFTER: ✔️ the call ✔️ the workout ✔️ the follow-up ✔️ the video ✔️ the first step ✔️ simply getting back into motion We also talked about gratitude — and how gratitude works the same way. You do not have to wait until you FEEL grateful to express gratitude. Sometimes gratitude is a discipline. A perspective. A daily practice. You appreciate what’s good anyway. You acknowledge progress anyway. You thank people anyway. You notice what’s still beautiful anyway. And often… the feeling follows the action. A few reminders from this morning: 💛 Progress creates energy 💛 Avoidance drains it 💛 Small consistent actions compound over time 💛 Rest restores you — avoidance keeps you stuck 💛 Confidence usually comes AFTER movement So today: Don’t wait to feel inspired to begin. Don’t wait to feel grateful to express gratitude. Start moving. Start appreciating. Start showing up. And let the action help create the feeling. ✨ #6AMCall #BadAssCoaching #MindsetMatters #AtomicHabits #Growth

episode What Thomas Keller Can Teach You About Your Listing Presentation (06.30.26) cover

What Thomas Keller Can Teach You About Your Listing Presentation (06.30.26)

A three-Michelin-star chef who still refines dishes he's made thousands of times at age seventy isn't chasing perfection — he's chasing technique. After watching Chef's Table: Legends this weekend, one question wouldn't go away: when's the last time you actually studied your presentation, instead of just using it?  In this episode, we break down five Tactical Tuesday assignments to help you separate experience from real mastery, including one that involves recording yourself and watching it back — uncomfortable, but worth it.  Most agents spend hours earning the appointment and almost no time preparing for the moment that actually earns the business.  This episode is about flipping that.  Block the hour, do the work, and find out what's actually been hiding in plain sight on page three.

My story ~ why I left corporate leadership in real estate and why Robin and I built this community (06.29.26)

ICYMI — this morning’s 6 AM Call was a little more personal. 💛 Today I shared part of my story — why I left corporate leadership in real estate and why Robin and I built this community in the first place. Because the truth is… there came a point where I realized I was successful on paper, but no longer fully living in alignment with my values. And I know I’m not the only one who’s ever felt that way. We talked about: ✨ The difference between external success and internal alignment ✨ Why so many agents feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and burned out ✨ The pressure to constantly perform in this industry ✨ Building a business that actually supports your life ✨ Why community, relationships, and authenticity matter so much ✨ The courage it takes to build differently One of the biggest takeaways: “What’s the point of success if it costs you alignment with yourself?” That question changed everything for me. And honestly, BadAss Coaching was built from the belief that you should not have to lose yourself to become successful. You can build with ambition AND authenticity. You can grow without pretending. You can succeed without doing it alone. Thank you for being part of this community with us. 💛 Join us tomorrow morning at 6 AM. 📞 518-418-1611 #6AMCall #BadAssCoaching #Leadership #Mindset #RealEstateCoach
