episode Appropriation or Miscommunication: The Cogs Have Nothing to Lose cover

Beskrivelse

On this episode, the Cogs sit with Daniel Cardenas, from Pineapple Podcast [https://www.patreon.com/pineapplepodcast],  who works in the film industry. Our main topic is the exploitation of the Black experience within the film industry. Our conversation is centered around an incident that took place on set between Daniel (a Black Camera Assistant) and Sandra Winther (a White Director) and her production company Sibling Films (an all-white team). Daniel advises us all to consider what position we are protecting for ourselves in this corrupt capitalist society by not standing up to injustice.
