Bakugo is the MVP. Last week I said I was excited to see what they did with Bakugo in this episode. Was he going to be a badass? Was he going to have some character development? Well, the answer was an astounding yes! The episode was incredible. This season of My Hero Academia, while not as heavy, is still knocking it out of the park week by week. My Hero Academia S05E08 Review

This episode was all Lida and Todoroki focused and what a treat that was. After last week’s episode where it was revealed that Lida literally took out his exhaust pipes from his leg in order to grow bigger and faster ones, I was amazed and interested in his new upgraded powers. And what a payoff it was. For ten minutes Lida was unstoppable. Aside from that, we got some brand new hidden power from Torodoki.
