Beskrivelse

Happy Frakkin Friday, folks...and Happy Juneteenth. I wish I had calculated this episode airing on this exact day, for I would have put in some forethought. While slavery in the United States was beyond brutal compared to working long hours in a fuel refinery ships; and ending of slavery is a far more substantial victory over getting a second shift established and a union organized, there is come correlation to the powers that be in a bifurcated society being the villains over the working class. As a member of the working class, this one sits with me. Its so well done, I hate Admiral Adama and President Roslin for a hot minute there, and thats a feat.

Taking a Break from All Your Worries.... "DAAAAVE!"

Happy Frakkin Friday, fine folks... Chester was right, Taking a Break from All Your Worries was a "Cheers" reference, specifically to the theme song. Twenty years of watching and I never put that together! I invited our friend, listener, and trivia host, Dave Cooper, to join us for this episode, given his love of both BSG and Cheers. Sadly, he had to go home and spend time with his family. Priorities! No matter, he has expressed interest in joining us for Crossroads, part 1 and 2. So instead of Joe's Bar.,.. he gets Jimi Hendrix. Should be fun... like this episode was originally written to be! Another fan, Mike, pointed out that I have neglected to regularly put the like to our Buy Me a Coffee.com page, seen here -> buymeacoffee.com/battlestagetheatrica [buymeacoffee.com/battlestagetheatrica] so if you like what you hear and you have a few cubits or pieces of algae to spare, we would be more than grateful.
