John looks at Jesus' words from the cross in Luke 23 to show us that even in his darkest moment, Jesus chose to pray and to forgive. He challenges us to follow that example, interceding for others and offering forgiveness even when it feels impossible, trusting that it's in those moments we rise above our circumstances and invite light into the dark.

Ian looks at Mark 4 to remind us that following Jesus doesn't mean avoiding the storm, it means knowing who's in the boat with you. He challenges us to resist doubt, blame, and wrong focus, and to find our footing in the authority and faithfulness of the One who has already promised to get us to the other side.
