Beskrivelse

In Episode 155, I sit down with my guys Malcolm Askew and Anthony Moore to talk about the creation and growth of our men’s group, “The Cave.” What started as a vision has turned into a powerful brotherhood. Since last February, we’ve been meeting every Tuesday night at Havana's Wine and Cigar Lounge in downtown Gainesville to build community, accountability, and real connection among men. In this episode, we discuss: * Why we started The Cave * The growth and impact we’ve seen over the past year * The importance of mental and physical health for men * Why men need safe spaces and support groups * Breaking the stigma around mental health — especially within Black men This conversation is honest, necessary, and rooted in brotherhood. If you’ve ever felt like men don’t have enough spaces to be open, vulnerable, and supported — this episode is for you. Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe. And if you’re in Gainesville, pull up on a Tuesday night. #TheCave #MensMentalHealth #BlackMenHealing #Brotherhood #PodcastEpisode155

Episode 154: Andrew Payne Talks Intentional Fatherhood, Leadership & Community Impact

I had the opportunity to sit down with Andrew Payne, a dedicated father, police officer with the Alachua Police Department, and founder of BAM4LIFE, a mentoring program transforming young lives in the Gainesville and Alachua area. Andrew opens up about his intentional approach to parenting—weekly check-ins with his kids, teaching love through everyday gestures, and creating space for honest communication. He also shares how his experiences in law enforcement and community mentoring shape his mission to empower the next generation. Tune in for a heartfelt conversation about fatherhood, leadership, and what it means to truly show up for your children and community. #Fatherhood #AndrewPayne #BAM4LIFE #Mentorship #ParentingPodcast #Leadership #GainesvilleFL #FatherhoodMatters #DadCanWeTalk #ChangingTheNarrative
