I actually should have published it last week, if not the week before, but we’re here now. Anyhow, I have been heads down working really hard on my new novel. It’s called The Company Man. This features a character who’s never been seen before. He’s very fun character. I think people are going to enjoy reading about him. I certainly think that he will fit in very well with the likes of Mitch Turner, Audrey Spencer, Kirk Kaufman, Burke Wyatt and Jason Maxfield. I think this is going to be a very good book. I’ve been having a lot of fun writing it. So anyhow, more to come on that. The first round of copy edits for the next Kirk Hoffman novel is are done. That’s for the shooter. And I’m going to be sending that over to the next copy editor here in a little bit. I just finished reviewing them today, actually. In fact, I’m very pleased with how that’s coming, and I’m hoping they get that book out here sometime in the relatively near future. We’ll see. There’s always things that seem to come up when I’m working on getting a project out, and it’s always a little bit more complicated than I remembered from the last time. There’s always one little tiny thing that I’m missing or that I forgot to do that I have to go back and get done anyhow. So those are the two big legal thrillers I’m working on right now. Also the Rat’s Nest audiobook. I just got the files from Eric Dove, and I am now going to be reviewing them and be getting back to him with some of my edits. And that’s coming down the pipe here pretty quickly as well. While we’re on the topic of audiobooks, instead of releasing audiobook chapters on the podcast, the way I have been doing recently, what I think I’m going to do is put all the files together into one file that I’m allowed to release under my exclusivity agreement with audible X audible and put those up on YouTube so I can release up to something like ten percent of the book for free as a sample. So I think I’m just going to start putting them all together and putting those up on YouTube. So when the rat’s nest becomes available, I will do that and put all the chapters together. And that’s what I’m going to be doing from now on. Finally, the last update I have is on Malcolm Braxton and the Dragon War. This is my Ya fantasy novel. I commissioned some artwork within the last couple months and that is now done and it looks really good. I have just finished putting the cover together just this week, and I’m really pleased with how that’s coming along. And so right now what I’m going to do is I’m going to be putting that into the copy editing process next. So the rat’s nest is going to be coming through it first, and then Malcolm Braxton is going to be going through it next. So anyhow, that’s pretty much it for writing updates. I hope everybody has a happy Fourth of July. This is a public episode.
