episode This Week’s Guest On Diane’s Kitchen: Sheldon Johnson cover

This Week’s Guest On Diane’s Kitchen: Sheldon Johnson

This week on Diane's Kitchen, meet Executive Director, Sheldon Johnson, from the Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NWRPC). This ten-county organization, which began in 1959, has a multi-service structure, always keeping its mission statement in the forefront, “Keeping Your Future as Our Focus.” On this week's broadcast, recycling is the topic. Where, how, what, and when. Washburn County has four drop-off centers alone, and they all have the same requirements: recyclable materials have to be clean, fit the profile, and also fit the requirements. The service is free unless it has a plug. There is a minimum charge for those items which then covers the cost for NWRPC has to pay to send them on. DrydenWire Chats: Senator Tom Tiffany

Senator Tom Tiffany, a candidate in the 7th Congressional District race, was our very special guest on a recent Facebook Live chat. Senator Tiffany has served as Senator for Wisconsin's 12th district since 2012, and previously as state representative for the 35th Assembly district. On September 10th, Senator Tiffany officially announced that he was running for Congress in the 7th Congressional District to replace U.S. Representative Sean Duffy, who had previously announced that he was stepping down. We discussed a range of topics including the Trump impeachment -- and what impacts the Senator believes that is having -- the news that Florence County declared itself a Second Amendment Sanctuary, and much much more. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drydenwire/message
