Norwegian Breakaway Getaway | 7 Night Canada & New England NCL Cruise!

From the moment we boarded in New York, we explored every inch of the ship, made sure to get our steps in, and tried (and mostly failed) to find good food on board. Pro tip: if you want to stay healthy on a cruise, take the stairs everywhere! But don’t worry—we made up for it at the ports with some of the best seafood, donuts, and local eats you can imagine. ✎ First stop—Portland, Maine. Holy Donut’s famous potato donuts? Had to try them. Lobster rolls? Obviously. Then we hit Bar Harbor for stunning views at Acadia National Park and some legendary blueberry pancakes. In Saint John, New Brunswick, we struggled to find a taxi but finally made it to the Reversing Falls and one of the best Irish pubs in town. And Halifax? Italian food, a historic citadel, and a visit to Alexander Keith’s Brewery—except they couldn’t actually serve us beer. Yeah, that happened. ✎ The final day at sea gave us time to reflect (and recover from all the eating). Back in New York, we squeezed in a quick visit to Times Square before heading home. This trip had everything—good food, bad food, epic views, insane Uber waits, and even a little inline meditation. If you love travel, food, and adventure, you’re going to love this one!
