He is a God of abundance, and He loves to give. He sacrificed willingly on the cross and then invited you into fullness of life. As His child, you are called to imitate Him. Your generosity in giving is a demonstration of God’s character and a response to what He has done for you. Christians are giving people, and, in giving, they lose nothing.

In the Christian doctrine of salvation, we are saved from “wrath,” that is, from God’s judgment of sin. Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death. Biblical salvation refers to your deliverance from the consequences of sin. It’s only Jesus’ death on the cross and subsequent resurrection that achieved your salvation. Today, Pastor Jimmy will explain that salvation is the gracious, undeserved gift of God and is only available through faith in Jesus Christ.
