Ep 5 | What We Got Wrong About Personal Development (And the understanding makes everything clear!)

Hey Neighbour!❤️ We’re back again, and this week we’re diving into a really important subject: personal development, and becoming the best version of ourselves that God has called us to be. But here’s the thing, what if we’ve misunderstood something along the way? Somehow, we’ve come to believe that we need to go and become the best version of ourselves to make God proud by being excellent stewards of what He has given us and called us to. But the key word here is “go.” And if you imagine embarking on a journey toward some kind of destination, then sister-girl, we need to talk. I’m going to share with you why thinking of the best version of you that God has called you to be as somewhere else you must embark on a journey to is actually not the right way to think about it. We’ll talk about how Jesus is the ultimate destination, and in Him is everything, including the best version of you that He has called you to be. I’m so excited to share this with you, and I pray that it blesses, inspires, and encourages you.
