episode When You're Barely Holding On cover

Beskrivelse

This one is for the person who feels like they’re barely holding on. I didn’t sit down to record a full teaching. I just felt like I needed to jump on and encourage the one who feels tired, overwhelmed, and maybe even a little afraid to let go because control has felt like the only thing keeping everything together. But Psalm 31 reminds us that God is our refuge, our fortress, and our Rock. And here's a golden nugget: warfare in this season isn’t about striving harder. It's about surrender. It's opening your hands and saying, “Lord, I trust You with what I cannot fix, what I cannot carry, and what I cannot control.” If that’s where you are, I pray this reminds you that God has not left you in this season. He is still holding you. Be strong. Take courage. Put your hope in the Lord. Psalm 31:24

The Power of Your Words in Parenting: What Your Kids Are Really Hearing

Parenting will stretch you in ways nothing else does—especially when life itself feels heavy. In this Heart Talk Replay, I’m taking you back to a season where I had to face something the Lord gently but clearly showed me… my words weren’t lining up with the heart I had for my kids. I was walking through my own hard stuff, and without even realizing it, it was coming out in the way I spoke to them. And here’s the truth about the power of our words to and around our children:What’s going on inside of us will eventually come out of us.This conversation is about learning how to separate what we’re carrying… from what we’re speaking. Because our words don’t just fill the room—they shape the hearts of the people we love the most.If you’ve ever had a moment where you thought, “That didn’t come out the way I wanted it to…”—you’re not alone.Let’s talk about how to shift it.For more about Unveiled Living check out our website at:www.unveiledliving.orgFind us on Social Media!Facebook: @unveiledlivingministryInstagram: @unveiledlivingministryTikTok: @unveiledliving

You're Not Just Thinking --You're Planting

In this episode of Heart Talk, we’re talking about something we don’t always realize: 👉 You’re not just thinking… you’re planting. Every thought you agree with, every word you speak, every narrative you repeat—it’s all sowing something. And over time? That’s what grows. We’re diving into: • How fear quietly shifts your thinking • Why not every thought deserves your agreement • The connection between your thoughts, your words, and your future • What Galatians 6:7 really shows us about sowing and reaping • The “grasshopper mindset” from Numbers 13–14—and how it still shows up today I’m also sharing a personal story from one of the most faith-stretching seasons of my life—when I had to choose between what I felt… and what God had already spoken. This episode will help you start recognizing what you’ve been agreeing with—and give you the tools to start planting something different. Because what you speak… is the house you live in.
