On the first year after I gave I gave my life to Christ one night during a phone conversation with a young man from church, someone I knew was married with children. He asked an inappropriate question, and I had a choice: entertain it because it was just the two of us on the phone, or rebuke it. I chose to rebuke it. I lost the friendship with both him and his wife, but I did what was necessary to guard my mind and keep my body from being defiled. As women, our beauty can be captivating, but in Christ and within the church, we are family. We are called to remain pure and holy before God.
