私は陰（いん）キャです。 陰キャは私が苦手なことについて話しています。 みなさんは何をするのが苦手ですか？ 陰キャは内向的で自分に自信がなくて一人を好む人。 英語でぴったり当てはまるニュアンスはないけど、強いていうなら、introvert, shy, socially awkward, gloomyと、文脈で使い分けることが必要です。 The Japanese term '陰キャ' (in-kya) describes someone who is generally introverted, tends to lack self-confidence, and prefers to be alone. While there isn't one single English word that perfectly captures all these nuances, you can convey the meaning by using terms like 'introvert' to emphasize their preference for solitude, 'shy' to highlight their reserved nature in social situations, 'socially awkward' to describe their difficulty in social interactions, and 'gloomy' to reflect a potentially negative or withdrawn demeanor. The best choice of word will depend on the specific context you're describing. Many Japanese people are feeling exhausted—some even resentful or angry—towards the over 10 million tourists visiting the country. Meanwhile, the government aims to bring in 50 million visitors annually by 2030. But… how’s that working out, really? And what can we do to fix this situation?
