A walk through the many musical & poetic phases of Il Battiato (aka Zio Franco). A Sicilian songwriter and composer, quintessentially Mediterraneo in language, culture, sound, philosophy. From the experimental concept albums of the 70s, to intelligent pop and protest (Bandiera bianca), to the mystical, to rearrangements of classic songs (Plaisir d'amour!), to peripatetic rock and music for opera. At the end, a beautiful Oceano di Silenzio will fall. Stacci bene, caro Franco.
