Guiding Principles of Cultural Proficiency: Relying on your Core Values

What are you core values?  How do you show up as an educator?  Does the organization in which you work do what they say they do? During this episode, the authors of "Leading through the Lens of Cultural Proficiency" focus on what the Four Tools of Cultural Proficiency are and how to apply them in your school organization.  The Tools of Cultural Proficiency include: Overcoming Barriers to Cultural Proficiency, the Guiding Principles of Cultural Proficiency, the Cultural Proficiency Continuum, and the Essential Elements of Cultural Proficiency.  You will hear about Eaveston School District's application of the Tools of Cultural Proficiency and have an opportunity to think about using learning strategies to apply the Tools of Cultural Proficiency  to increase equity, access, and inclusion in your organization.
