A Colorado native and graduate of BIOLA University with a degree in Business and a minor in Bible, she returned home after college to begin a career that has spanned four decades. Today, she serves on the BG Products Board of Directors, continuing a legacy of leadership while helping guide the company into the future. She and her husband, Ron, have been married since 1993 and are proud parents of two children and grandparents to two grandchildren. Beyond her professional life, she has dedicated nearly 40 years to children’s and music ministry, impacting countless families through Vacation Bible School and church service. These days, her favorite role is being “Grandma,” spending every opportunity she can with her growing family. Kristy W. Armstrong

This week on LIVING IT LOUD: Kristy W. Armstrong is a Denver-based Bible teacher, retreat speaker, and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She has taught at Bible studies and retreats throughout Colorado, across the United States, and internationally in South Asia. Kristy is the author of Loving God and Yourself, a Bible study exploring the three loves found in the Great Commandment in Matthew 22. Her passion is helping people deepen their love for God while gaining a clearer understanding of what it means to love their neighbors as themselves. Kristy earned a B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University and an M.A. in Counseling from Denver Seminary. She began her counseling career at Vernon Grounds/Cherry Hills Counseling Center and continues to maintain her LPC designation. While raising her family, she served as an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Christian University, on the Board of Trustees at Valor Christian High School, and on a local charter school board, while also homeschooling her children during various seasons of life. More recently, Kristy earned a second M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Denver Seminary, studying Greek and Hebrew while balancing family life. She has participated in mission work both domestically and internationally. Following a trip to India, she helped launch a Business-as-Mission (BAM) initiative in Kolkata to support slum ministries and community development. She also serves on the board of AsOne, which focuses on sustainable, community-based solutions to poverty in Uganda. Kristy and her husband, entrepreneur Wil Armstrong, have been married for 33 years and have three children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking with friends, spending time with family, and relaxing with her dog Beau at the family cabin in south-central Colorado. She has also climbed seven Colorado fourteeners. Since joining Infinite Hero in 2019, Courtney has led the organization’s mission to advance innovative treatments and programs that improve recovery outcomes for our military personnel, veterans, and their families. Before Infinite Hero, Courtney directed global operations for the Arbonne Charitable Foundation, expanding its reach internationally, and served as Executive Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Her career spans both nonprofit and private sectors, with leadership roles supporting organizations such as Pacific Symphony, Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club, and Hornblower Cruises & Events. A graduate of the University of San Diego, Courtney has devoted her career to creating meaningful change. Her commitment to the military community is deeply personal—her father and grandfather served our nation, and many family members and close friends have worn the uniform as well. A former Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Shari also helped shape the next generation of child advocates while pushing for a more child-centered, family-focused welfare system. Her work has earned national recognition, including induction into the Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame and multiple lifetime achievement awards.
