The Bock Saga is a topic I've heard mentioned many times over the past couple of years, but I was not prepared for the true Bock Saga. After reading the book by Carl Borgen, it was clear this had to be the next episode of Occult Book Club for a few reasons. First, I promise that if you haven't heard of "Bock Saga" before, or have only heard about it in passing, this episode will absolutely blow your mind. Second, the most surprising thing about the Bock Saga is how secretive and protective "Bockologists / Bockists" seem to be about the true nature of the saga. My impression before reading the book, is that the Bock Saga is mainly about the etymology and the concept of a "root language" however this is only a small detail. That last part left me feeling like nobody has done a true overview of Bock Saga, warts and all. So here is what I believe to be a definitive and completely neutral view of Bock Saga. Yes, we laugh and tell jokes the entire time, it's impossible not to. If you're expecting a conversation where Juan and I just dance around the true teachings of the Bock Saga, this isn't the video for you.
