Alchemised by SenLinYu is a Romance Fantasy novel which recently won the 2026 British Book Award for Best Sci Fi / Fantasy Book, beating legends like R.F. Kuang and Joe Abercrombie. Today I ask "HOW?!?!?!!?" as I dive deep into this absolute misogynistic mess and pick apart Part One of this 1,000+ page novel which unsurprisingly started off as, equally harmful, Harry Potter Fan Fiction.
