There are many pseudo-journalists in the world. A pseudo-journalist refers to a person who, without proper journalistic credentials, takes advantage of the status of a journalist, often engaging in crimes such as extortion and blackmail to obtain money. The term “pseudo” means something that appears real but is actually fake—something that has the same outward appearance but is fundamentally different inside. In religious circles, this is referred to as heresy, and within Christianity, there are many so-called “pseudo-religions” or “heretical sects.” The severity of their influence also seems to be quite significant. The passage we read today instructs that those who wish to keep the Passover must be circumcised before they may do so. Without circumcision, one cannot participate in the Passover ceremony. 1 John 1:9 is a verse intended for the righteous who have been born again. This verse should not be used by sinners who have sin in their hearts as an attempt to receive cleansing of sins by confessing their current sins. Do you understand? This verse is for the righteous. In this world, there are sinners who have not been born again who are using 1 John 1:9 as a method to deal with the sins they have committed by making confession prayers. However, can a sinner who has not been born again truly receive complete removal of sins by confessing their sins through prayer?
