In today's episode we speak to Awer Mabil, who spent the first 10 years of his life in a Kenyan refugee camp before his South Sudanese family relocated to Adelaide in 2006. Twelve years later, Mabil scored a goal against Kuwait in his Socceroos debut. Today, he is competing in his second World Cup, proudly wearing the green-and-gold jersey of the country he now calls home, all while never forgetting his Dinka roots. We sat down with him. This is his story.
