Seasons of Self
Welcome to Season Two of Seasons of Self. This season begins a little differently. Over the past year, I've shared conversations, reflections, and teachings about living in rhythm with ourselves and the natural world. But as I paused during the last full moon, a deeper question emerged: What do we actually need right now? The answer wasn't more information. It was space. Space to slow down. Space to listen to ourselves. Space to connect in and remember our truest SELF. That's why the first episode of Season Two is a guided Yoga Nidra—a practice of conscious rest that gently supports nervous system regulation while inviting you back into your own inner wisdom. Released with the New Moon, this practice is an invitation to soften the noise of everyday life, reconnect with your body, and plant a heartfelt intention (Sankalpa) for the season ahead. Through breath, body awareness, sensory meditation, and a nature-inspired visualization, you'll be guided into a state of deep rest where clarity can arise naturally rather than through effort. Whether this is your first Yoga Nidra or a familiar practice, I invite you to receive this hour as a gift to yourself. There is nothing to fix. Nothing to achieve. Only an opportunity to come home. Please listen somewhere you can lie down comfortably and won't be interrupted. This practice is not suitable while driving or operating machinery. You may wish to have: * A blanket * A pillow beneath your head or knees * Comfortable clothing * An eye pillow if desired After your practice, consider taking a few moments to journal.
