Seoul-ful Sisters
had the privilege of sitting down with designer, artist, creative director, CEO—and the many other roles she seamlessly takes on—Kelita Choi, founder of Kelita & Co., one of Korea’s most renowned branding studios. I’ve never heard anyone explain brands and branding quite the way she does. Like people, she says, brands are born—but they also grow, evolve, wither, and renew. The role of a branding company is to capture the essence of a brand and protect it through all the changes it is bound to experience, preserving the identity at its very core. Beyond her dedication to creating meaningful logos and visual identities, Kelita is deeply passionate about gardening, paper, travel, and artistic immersion in all its forms. One of my favorite insights from our conversation was her philosophy that life should be lived like a sandwich: first, tackle the parts you may not enjoy (think the lettuce and tomatoes), but always leave room for the parts you love (the ham and cheese). Without that balance, she believes, burnout is inevitable—and life becomes unsustainable. I could say so much more about this conversation, but I’ll leave the rest for you to discover. Stay for the full 40 minutes—yes, our longest episode yet—because every minute is worth it. Join me again next week for another special guest! Until then, stay positive, and stay “soul” (Seoul)-ful:)! Instagram: seoulfulsisters Contact: yuraclaire@icloud.com [yuraclaire@icloud.com]
