Peter Denies Knowing Jesus John 18:15-27

We look at Peter's 3 denials of knowing Jesus while Jesus was on trial.  This is a Father's Day message to encourage dads to not be ashamed of thier relationship with Jesus and to exhort them to lead thier families to follow Jesus and confess His name publically. It is also a story of redemption for all who have fallen short.  Peter's sin is not the end of his life or ministry.  God is gracious and merciful even to those who sin greatly.

Jesus Surrenders to the Authorities John 18:1-14

Jesus laid His life down for His people.  No one took Him by force.  He willingly surrendered to the authorities that He might obey His Father unto death.  He had the power to lay HIs life down and the power to take it up again.

Jesus Prays for All Believers John 17:20-26

How comforting and encourage to know that Jesus prayed for us right before He died for us!  What a beautiful prayer that demonstrates our Savior's love and will for us.  He prays for our family unity, our future home, and our familial love.

Jesus Prays for His Disciples John 17:6-19

The High Priestly prayer of Jesus.  He prays first for Himself and then for His disciples.  They are chosen by God and given to Jesus.  He prays that the Father would guard them from evil and keep them in His name and His truth.

Jesus Prays for Glory John 17:1-5

Jesus begins this beautiful prayer by first praying for Himself.  He prays that the Father would glorify Him that He might bring glory to the Father.
