In the TV series Glow, the character Debbie has some difficulty getting into her wrestling character. So her friends take her to a match to help her out. After watching the pageantry and the outlandish performances she has a revelation. She jumps out of her seat and exclaims "It's A Soap Opera! This whole thing is a soap opera! I understand how to do that." Replace Debbie with Jess, the match with E's 'Total Divas' and "soap opera" with reality TV. Turns out we all really like wrestling, who knew?
