In the time of BLM and the conversation on racial justice as well as the conversation on placing value on ALL lives in the Black community, this work is especially important. For Colored Girls give us the chance to reflect on the Black experience- through its many joys and many pains- whether that is a lived experience or one viewed through proximity.
