A two-time cancer survivor, world record-setting extreme endurance athlete, and no stranger to personal hardship, Dean has the life experience to stand behind his techniques and advice. Dean firmly believes that reconnecting ourselves to nature has the power to change our lives for the better. He discovered this first-hand when, while swimming the entire length of the Willamette River, nature healed his leukemia.
