It has been a tumultuous week for The Bit O’Red. In Episode 207, Ronan, Fionn and Gerry discuss John Russell’s departure to Shelbourne, his time as manager at the Showgrounds the potential impacts of his exit for the rest of the season. Despite coming from 2-nil down last Saturday, Galway struck an injury time winner, the lads look back on that. The women’s team, however, continue their fine form. They picked up a 1-0 triumph over Wexford at The Showgrounds. While the FAI Cup comes into a view with a trip to Limerick to take on Janesboro FC.

SECOND-HALF SWING // BIT O'RED POD 206 //

The Bit O'Red took the lead against Shamrock Rovers, but unfortunately, were pegged back in the second half. In Episode 206, Ronan, Odhrán and Gerry look back on the loss. There are, however some positives, with players returning from injury plus added reinforcements. The women's continued their strong season, progressing to the next round of the FAI Cup. While it's a trip to the seaside and Salthill for the men's with a Connacht Derby in unfamiliar surroundings on Saturday.

LAST-GASP SPOILS SHARED // BIT O'RED POD 205 //

An equaliser in the dying moments in the game secured a point for Shelbourne and denied The Bit O'Red all three. In Episode 205, Ronan, Gerry, Odhrán and Fionn look back on the draw . The lads discuss the circumstances that led to a two-goal leader being surrendered. Shamrock Rovers roll into town on Friday night- the lads look ahead to that one.

A SAINTS SUCKER PUNCH // BIT O'RED POD 204 //

The Bit O'Red made the trip to Inchicore last Friday night. In Episode 204, Ronan, Fionn and James dissect the last gasp defeat to St. Patrick’s Athletic. The lads look back on the defeat. The women’s team suffered some late heartbreak over their own, conceding late to Shelbourne. They do, however, remain unbeaten in five league games. Shelbourne’s men’s team visit The Showgrounds on Saturday night- the lads preview the fixture.

A WHIMPER IN WATERFORD // BIT O'RED POD 203 //

The Bit O'Red returned from the mid-season break with an absolute whimper. In Episode 203, Ronan, Gerry and Fionn dissect the four-nil defeat to Waterford. The lads look back on the defeat and the potential implications going forward. While the games keep coming thick and fist as another away trip is on the horizon with a visit to Inchicore on Friday night to take on St. Pat's.
